Nichts – Marco Goecke – Programma A – NDT 2

Nichts (2008) is the first work by German Marco Goecke for NDT this season as a associate choreographer. As always, Goecke builds his own dance universe in his characteristic and unique dance language. The result is an eclectic, postmodern choreography presenting many solos, full of unexpected, subsequent movements. Shaking, shivering, fluttering… pure, fascinating madness.

Gods and Dogs – Jiří Kylián – Programma A – NDT 2

Gods and Dogs (2008) is the 100th choreography Jiří Kylián created for NDT. This mysterious ballet by the master choreographer visualizes the fine line between normality and abnormality. Or as he himself puts it: «Surely no positive developments can ever be accomplished without the help of a healthy portion of madness.» ods and Dogs is called ‘an unfinished work’, referring to Kylián’s fascination for the beauty of what is left incomplete in life. Gods and Dogs won the Swan Most Impressive Dance Production 2009.
